Most of our loyal Glazed and Confuzed fans, know what summertime means for peaches in Palisade, and are waiting patiently for a taste of our peaches and cream. Every summer we head down to the farmers markets looking for the juiciest local peaches from our friends in Palisade, Colorado.
Now some people might claim the best peaches come from Georgia, but any G&C fan knows that they have nothing on our local peaches! That's because our western slope is in the perfect place for producing great produce! The hot summer sun is absorbed by Palisade's many beautiful rock formations all day, and slowly recycled back into the thriving plant life all through the evening, allowing for an extended fruit growing period, not to mention the 78% sunshine Palisade experiences for it's 178 day growing period. If that doesn't make the fruit perfect enough, getting the fruit local also allows us to ensure that the fruit was ripened while still ON the tree, this makes sure that each peach we use is as big and juicy as it will possibly get. This is why our peaches and cream, although a simple combination of caramelized local peaches, homemade cream, and deep fried dough, has enough flavor to keep our customers on the edge of their seats in anticipation for peach season.
